Texas Fertigation Company Turf Feeding Systems is Implementing Sustainability and Water Efficiency into Al Shaheed Garden Park in Kuwait City
(PRWEB) February 18, 2015 -- The renovation of the large 45-acre Al Shaheed Garden Park in Kuwait City has been underway for the last year and Turf Feeding Systems (TFS) has just been selected to provide their fertigation system for the irrigation.
The House of Development in Agriculture Construction Company (HOD), the contractor on the project, selected Turf Feeding Systems to supply the fertigation system and tanks due to the organization’s background and international work on landscapes and water efficiency.
The park renovation has been under construction and is nearing completion. It is a special park in the Green Belt, designed specifically for the enjoyment of the children in Kuwait City.
HOD is one of the largest landscape and agriculture companies in Kuwait, and is very interested in implementing the efficiencies of Sustainability and Water Efficiency into the park.
Michael Chaplinsky, the president of TFS states, “We are building a special fertigation system specified by the design team with six injectors, PH and EC monitors and tanks with mixers. This system is specified with capacity and adaptability to satisfy any nutrient program.”
Chaplinsky also notes, “We bring more than the fertigation system to the project. We will implement our technology for Sustainable Landscapes and Water Efficiency into the Al Shaheed Garden Park to create one of the most beautiful and water efficient landscapes in Kuwait. We will partner with HOD on the project and I will travel to the site in Kuwait to oversee the installation, startup and training for the fertigation system. We will ship several drums of special organic products for the soil, donated by Fast2Grow and GenNext, which will be used on the project. These products are important soil amendments and will introduce HOD to importance of soil health”.
TFS plans to build plant and soil health together, which is the foundation of Sustainable Landscapes. Chaplinsky states, “I am sure the site is made up of mostly poor sandy soil. So we will utilize the bio products to add carbon to build the carbon content in the soil as well as promote biologic growth”.
HOD will source other bio products in Kuwait to become elements of a larger soil health program.
Chaplinsky further says, “This will be a new region to introduce the values and benefits of Sustainable Landscapes and Water Efficiency. Kuwait has a lot of oil, but poor soil and water has great value”.
Mr. Chaplinsky has a number of projects in Ghana West Africa, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and in Bali as well as with olive growers in Texas. He is an expert in improving poor soils, sand, and sodium issues in the soil.
He is looking for serious partners to implement sustainable agriculture anywhere in the world. Interested parties can contact Chaplinksy and join his e-newsletter by clicking here and completing the form.
