“Resident Evil” Actor, D.C. Douglas, Guest Stars on “NCIS" Potential New Orleans Spin-Off
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 -- D.C. Douglas, known to Resident Evil video game fans as Albert Wesker, recently wrapped filming a guest spot on the much anticipated two episode pilot for “NCIS: New Orleans” that will be embedded within the hit series “NCIS.”
Douglas plays a Washington, D.C. lobbyist opposite Mark Harmon and Scott Bakula in the episode “Crescent City Part 1” airing Tuesday, March 25 on CBS.
“I can’t really say anything about the episode,” Douglas admits, “but I can say that working with Mark Harmon and Scott Bakula was an absolute treat. Two very warm and welcoming actors…and I finally actually got to work with Scott!”
“I did an episode of ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ years ago, but none of my scenes were with Scott,” Douglas explains, “and I thought I had missed my opportunity to work with a TV icon. Feeling very lucky.”
Douglas has garnered a following among “Resident Evil” gamers over the last few years and was surprised how excited they were to learn of his “NCIS” appearance.
“Once I posted it on social media they all went crazy. It was surreal. I never realized just how popular this show is. It's a ratings juggernaut! So proud to be on an episode.”
Fans of Douglas have a lot to look forward to from the actor and voice over artist.
On March 1st, "Transformers: Rescue Bots" began it's second season on The Hub. The cast, which includes Lacey Chabert ("Mean Girls") and LeVar Burton ("Star Trek: Next Generation"), have already begun recording season 3. Douglas voices Chase, the officious police car autobot.
On March 11, “Alpha House,” a ribald teen comedy, was released on major cable Video On Demand systems. Douglas plays the high strung and devious Dean Marshall who tries to destroy a fraternity by making it co-ed.
Because of his work on that film, he’s now developing a fan-centric zombie film with “Alpha House” writers, Jacob Cooney and Brandon Trenz. They’re hoping for a 2015 release.
On April 8, “Apocalypse Kiss” will be released and available via VOD, Amazon and many other outlets. Douglas plays a serial killer with a visual resemblance to his “Resident Evil” character.
The cast includes Michael Berryman ("The Devil's Rejects”), Lloyd Kaufman (President of Troma Pictures), Tom Atkins ("Lethal Weapon"), Playboy Playmate, Tammy Jean, and voiceover actor, Steve Blum ("Wolverine and the X-Men") in his first on-screen role.
In July, Douglas can be seen in "Helen Alone," a surreal indie film, debuting at the Madrid Film Festival and nominated for Best Feature Film. The film also stars Priscilla Barnes ("The Devil's Rejects") and Daniel Baldwin ("Homicide: Life on the Street").
In addition, Douglas will be making more than a dozen personal appearances at anime and videogame cons throughout the states and the United Kingdom in 2014.
