Included in the above historic package is a wonderful period dinner attended by actors portraying General Sir Edward Pakenham and senior offices of the British Expeditionary Forces of 1815. The period dinner recreates a meal that would have been served at an important function in the early 1800’s, with research done by Chef Joey Wells, longtime chef of the Bourbon Orleans, where the dinner will be held in the historic 1817 Orleans Ballroom, New Orleans oldest. The five-course candlelight dinner, served with wine, and proceeded by an open bar with period drinks will be held on Tuesday January 6th at 6:30 pm and is open to individual guests.
