Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- Chicago-based company The Mood Factory, with brand Mood-lites®, is proud to announce a collaboration with Bright Pink® to raise money and awareness for breast and ovarian health. During September and October, The Mood Factory will donate $0.25 for each Hot Pink Sassy incandescent Mood-lite sold to Bright Pink® to encourage households, dorms, and offices around the U.S. to light bright pink for the month of October. Mood-lites are manufactured by Feit Electric and available at Lowe’s Home Improvement stores nationwide or online for $2.98.
Lindsay Avner, Founder and CEO of Bright Pink, is excited about the collaboration: “Bright Pink is so grateful for the support of Mood-lites. Products like this allow us to continue to reach more women with life-saving education about breast and ovarian health so all young women are empowered to take action.”
The illumination campaign provides an innovative and unique way to raise money and awareness for breast and ovarian health and early detection as it brings the conversation to the front porch in a visible way.
Kathryn Goetzke, CMO of The Mood Factory, is excited to launch this effort “The beautiful glow of a Mood-lite is a visual reminder about the importance of early detection. Plus, if each of the 110 million households lit just one pink Mood-lite, it could potentially raise $27 million dollars in funding for Bright Pink, equating to 27 million women empowered through Bright Pink’s AssessYourRisk.org. Our goal is to provide support and help Bright Pink accomplish their efforts in breast cancer awareness and support.”
