Noree Victoria Returns as Simone on Tv One’s "Rickey Smiley Show”
Chicago (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- Fans of the character “Simone” on the top rated "The Rickey Smiley Show" will get to see a new outrageous and sometimes vulnerable side of her, as Baltimore native Noree Victoria returns to the show for Season 2 and the cast she describes as “my second family" every Friday night, beginning July 26 at 9 p.m. on the TV One Network.
“The pranks that we play on each other on the show – we actually do those things,” Noree said. “It’s a real brotherly-sisterly love kind of environment. These guys are all incredible to work and play with.”
From the epic water balloon wars on base camp, to the playground that Rickey Smiley created himself on the back lot – complete with a pool, a grill and a basketball goal – the set has something for everyone. On any given day roaming throughout the studio, you might see production assistants throwing a football around with the writers, or the head of transportation playfully chasing Simone down with a bucket of water. When asked what the crew thinks of Rickey Smiley himself, there’s no shortage of genuine admiration.
“That man has a heart of gold,” Noree said. “When you throw people together to create on-screen relationships, there has to be a real connection somewhere underneath. With a show like ours, what better way to bond than to play just as hard as you work together.”
The series was filmed at Bobbcat Film Studios in Atlanta, GA, and featured surprise guest star appearances throughout the season from celebrities like actor/comedian Charlie Murphy and hip hop sensation Doug E Fresh.
“Everyone who visited our set to work said they could tell that we really love each other here. Everyone always wants to come back. We’ve created more than a television show, and I hope our audience will feel that,” Noree said.
She added that Season 2 will be particularly fan focused: “We listened to the feedback from last year and worked so very hard to bring our audience what they’ve asked for,” she said during a short break between scenes. “I think the fans are going to love this television family as much as I do.”
