SBPRA's Newest Title, "Helena's Vendetta" Evokes Classic Noir Thrillers
(PRWEB) January 12, 2015 -- The twists and turns in this suspenseful drama will enthrall readers to the very end. Edward Borg, son of criminal mastermind Leo Borg, is orphaned young when his father is murdered and his mother dies of heartbreak.
He falls in love with Helena, the stepdaughter of Malta’s most vicious criminal. Helena tells Edward she is being forced to marry her stepbrother and that her stepfather will then kill her to steal her wealth. She is also certain that her stepfather poisoned her mother.
Edward helps fake Helena’s death, but events spiral out of control and he is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Was Edward too naïve to believe in a beautiful woman or is Helena really in danger? When it comes to crime families, there’s no easy answer.
“This crime novel is a fascinating read as well as an interesting take on a romance gone bad. We are pleased to announce its release,” said Robert Fletcher, CEO of Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency.
