121 Financial Donates $1,000 to Rethreaded of Jacksonville to Launch Giving Circle Charity Campaign
121 Financial Credit Union (121 Financial) launched its Giving Circle charity campaigns earlier this month, which donates $1,000 to a local Jacksonville-area charity identified by their members each month.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- 121 Financial Credit Union (121 Financial) launched its Giving Circle charity campaigns earlier this month, which donates $1,000 to a local Jacksonville-area charity identified by their members each month. Rethreaded of Jacksonville is the first recipient of the Giving Circle.
Rethreaded is a small upcycle business specializing in handcrafted goods made by local survivors of human trafficking. The organization works to renew hope, reignite dreams, and create potential for survivors of human trafficking locally and globally through its business.

"We love that the 121 Financial Credit Union chose us to receive this gift. It's inspiring to see community outreach programs expanding all over Jacksonville, Florida."
Any Jacksonville-area non-political charitable organization with qualifying IRS 501c3 designation is eligible to be considered for support as part of this program, as long as they are nominated by a current 121 Financial member via Facebook. The Giving Circle is a way for members of 121 Financial to come together and give back to the charities they chose.
The first three weeks of June, local charities were nominated on 121 Financial's Facebook page, then during the last week of the month, employees of 121 Financial voted for and selected Rethreaded among the candidates.
This is the first Giving Circle by 121 Financial and another $1,000 is be given to charity at the end of July as well.
