13-year-old author of The Rules of a Big Boss: A book of self-love and CEO of The Rules of a Big Boss LLC, Haelee P. Moone publishes second book entitled, The Unexpected Journey: Fire and Gold. Haelee also partnered with Words for the Soul Book Club to facilitate a virtual book fair and fundraiser to increase literacy amongst underprivileged children in Detroit, MI.
KNIGHTDALE, N.C., March 16, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Haelee Moone is 13 years old and she's a small business owner and the author of two books. Her book entitled The Rules of a Big Boss: A book of self-love is a personal journey of how she overcame depression, anxieties, and betrayal. Haelee found the Lioness within her and rose up (found her self- esteem) instead of sinking. It is a manual for young and adult women to maximize higher self-esteem. The book holds a 4.9 rating on Amazon. She wrote it while we were stuck at home due to COVID. Haelee developed a complementary clothing and accessory line in accordance with that book under the name of the Rules of a Big Boss LLC. Her products allow men, women, and children to be as boldly confident as she has now become. Haelee did all of this while balancing her schoolwork and helping nurse her father back to health following a major car accident.
Haelee's bravery in what she experienced inspired her Dad, Dedrick L. Moone to write his memoir. It features her as Co-author, and it's entitled The Unexpected Journey: Fire and Gold. It recounts how he survived brokenness, criminal prosecution, discrimination, reprisal, and unemployment from protecting her yet came out gold in the end. Readers will learn and have also been learning how President Obama and the US Department of Education lent a hand to help Haelee and Dedrick. The Rules of a Big Boss LLC [Haelee's company] published the Hardcover edition of this book on March 5, 2021. It was also released via Kindle and Softcover on February 15, 2021. The books are carried by Ingram Group, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Powell's Bookstore, Amazon, and Walmart. They are also available through several small black owned retailers.
Haelee also paid a graphic artist to develop coloring sheets for her. Her intent in doing so was to develop and sell a coloring and activity book to be sold as a companion with The Rules of a Big Boss: A book of self-love. She understands that unemployment is high, and that people are struggling due to the Covid Pandemic hence she decided to give the coloring and activity sheets away for free. She posts them on her blog, walks viewers through them on her and Dedrick's YouTube Channel [The Rules of a Big Boss], and invites viewers to follow along as a way of giving back to the global community.
If that's not enough, Haelee has partnered with Words for the Soul Book Club to participate in a virtual book fair on April 3, 2021. The event will be facilitated via Zoom. Haelee will be speaking about her first book, The Rules of a Big Boss: A book of self-love during this virtual event. She will be joined by Ka'Maya Shanelle and Karter Johnson. Ka'Maya is 6 years old and she's the author of I Love Myself: A Coloring and Activity Book with Self-Love Affirmations. Karter is 9 years old and he's the author of The Science Behind It: Formulating Success While Impacting the World. The purpose of this book fair is to raise $1,000. That money will be used to purchase copies of each of the authors books. The purchased books will be donated to underprivileged children in Detroit, MI for the effect of increasing literacy.
