The LMG Life Sciences 2018 Guide’s “Life Science Stars” includes 16 attorneys from global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

The LMG Life Sciences Guide serves as a resource for in-house counsel identifying leading lawyers and firms in multiple practice areas. According to its website, LMG Life Sciences’ research involved over 1,000 online surveys and interviews with nearly 600 attorneys in the United States, as well as a review of public information and feedback from clients within the industry.

In addition, Lori G. Cohen, the firm’s co-chair of Global Litigation; chair of its Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice; chair of the Trial Practice; and co-chair of the Atlanta Litigation Practice, was named “2018 Product Liability Attorney of the Year” and inducted into the Life Sciences Hall of Fame. Her national litigation practice focuses on product liability litigation and, specifically, medical device and pharmaceutical litigation. Cohen has obtained 50-plus defense verdicts at trial.

  • Wayne H. Elowe, chair of the Atlanta Corporate Practice, concentrates his practice on international business and complex commercial transactions, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, licensing, and technology transactions.
  • Robert L. Grossman, chair of the firm’s Israel Practice and a shareholder in the firm’s Miami office, has represented public and private companies, including companies in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, health care, energy and natural resources, technology and software, and communications industries.
