DataParser is a leading compliance solution to collect regulated data types for retention in an archive. Microsoft Teams is a hub for teamwork in Office 365 – a workspace for real-time collaboration and communication where you can chat, meet, call and collaborate from anywhere.

The current version of Teams DataParser supports collection of threaded chats, channels, memes, emojis, images and bold or other formatted text. The Graph API integration in the new version will also allow for the collection of shared files and threading of sub channels and private channels.
DataParser processed messages include all user and timestamp data for regulatory compliance. Features include custom eDiscovery tagging so messages can be filtered in the archive. The Teams module allows clients to bring their communications into any compliance archive just as with Skype, SharePoint, Slack, Yammer, Jabber, Symphony, Eikon Messenger, Bloomberg and all other DataParser supported data sources.
DataParser has no impact on the collected data source networks or destination archives. Users' chat and collaboration activities are not disrupted by the DataParser's processes and Compliance officers do not have to make changes to eDiscovery procedures. All ingested data sources are fully indexed and searchable via typical eDiscovery queries.
All major archiving technologies are supported by DataParser allowing clients to leverage in house resources and keep compliance costs to a minimum. VMs are supported, including AWS and Azure. Message delivery options include the ability to send via SMTP into an archive, to a file location or a mailbox. The third-party data endpoint for clients using Office 365 for archiving is also supported.
