OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- 180 Medical, a leading nationwide supplier of intermittent catheters and ostomy supplies, is proud to announce the launch of an annual college scholarship: the Ron Howell Caregiver College Scholarship. As 180 Medical President Ron Howell retires this year, the new namesake scholarship award is open to college students who are unpaid caregivers to a family member or loved one and plan to attend a 2-year, 4-year, or graduate school program in the fall.

Ron Howell's background in the United States Air Force taught him core values of "integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do." When Ron continued his career path as a civilian after retiring from the service, he found a perfect fit at 180 Medical, where compassion, service, and integrity are components of their value system too. Howell understands the importance of rewarding the amazing work of caregivers across the nation.

180 Medical is taking applications from now until June 1, 2020. Winner will be announced on 180 Medical's Facebook page by August 1, 2020.
