19 Star EV Models Are Now CARB Certified
Greenville, SC (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- Star EV, a Brand of JH Global Services, Inc., is proud to announce that 19 models of Star electric vehicles have been certified by California Air Resource Board on March 12, 2014 through Executive Order A-414-0001, as Zero-emission neighborhood electric vehicles (NEV). This represents a significant progress for Star EV’s commitment to promote electric vehicles and help better the environment.
“In addition to electric high speed passenger vehicles that most of the motor vehicle manufactures are focused on, we believe that low speed electric vehicles can also play a large role in helping the environment, they have zero emissions, and can be used on golf courses, around the neighborhood, sports stadiums, colleges, factories, airports, resorts, etc. Electric vehicles are popping up everywhere as they continue to replace unnecessary gas or diesel vehicles,” says Joe Wallington, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Through almost 2 years of application process and rigorous independent lab tests, we are pleased to have 19 of our STAR EV models certified. This will help us greatly to promote STAR EVs, not just in the market of California, but also in the other CARB states such as New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and Oregon, which follow California standards.”
Star EV’s 36-2 and 48-2 models are also certified by CARB in October of 2012 as new pure electric golf cart of highway recreational vehicles through executive order U-G-008-0001-1.
