Talent INC Canada Assigns Over $68,000.00 In Scholarships As They Announce The 2014 Overall Winners At It's 3rd Annual Canadian National Conference
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) April 16, 2014 -- The overall winner for the category of Child Actor aged 4-12 is Hailey Lees from Toronto. Her combined scores were the highest in the TV Commercial and Film Scene competitions. Hailey also has an incredible memory and at just 5 years old she can memorize several pages of dialogue literally overnight.
From Toronto, the overall winner for the category of Female Actor aged 13 and over went to Natasha Taylor. Natasha scored the highest scores in the TV Commercial, Film Scene and Monologue competitions combined. At the conference, Natasha was a role model, reminding all of us it is never too late to follow your dreams.
In the Male Actor division aged 13 and over, the award went to Calgary native and Toronto transplant, Justin Toth. Justin's combined scores were the highest in the TV Commercial, Film Scene, and Monologue competitions. Justin also landed the lead role in Positive Production's newest project titled, Popcorn.
This year the overall winner for Child Model aged 4-12 went to Toronto's Cheryl Malanum. Cheryl had the highest combined scores in the Photography and Runway competitions. Cheryl is not only stunning but incredibly talented as well, with a voice boasting an expressive range and incredible depth, especially considering her young age.
The overall winner of the Female Fashion category aged 13-25 and 5’8″ and above went to the beautiful and talented, Elena Tranze of Toronto. Elena had the highest combined scores in the Photography, Swim Suit and Runway competitions. This was Elena's 2nd time attending the Canadian National Conference which featured a Bollywood theme.
This year’s overall Male Fashion winner aged 13 and over and 5’10″ and above went to Toronto’s, Bradley Goveia. Bradley had the highest combined scores in the Photography, Swim Suit, and Runway competitions. Bradley was living abroad and actually relocated back to Canada just to attend the Talent INC Canada National Conference this year.
In the overall Commercial Model category aged 13-25 and under 5’8″ in height the award went to Naja Stanford of Toronto. Naja had the highest combined scores in the Photography, TV Commercial and Runway competitions. Naja is also an accomplished martial artist and this year marked her 3rd National Conference.
The overall Classic Model award went to the incredibly talented Evgeny Pasternak of Toronto. The award for classic overall model is restricted to our clients over the age of 26 and based upon the combined scores from the Photography, Runway, and TV Commercial scores. Interestingly enough, Evgeny is one of 3 Russians to win an overall award this year.
From Edmonton, Emma Rizko won accolades from Talent INC Canada celebrity panelists with her spot on song choice of, "There Are Worse Things I could Do" from the musical, "Grease". This was the first year Edmonton artists were invited to attend Talent INC Canada, and clearly the city has a reason to be proud. The competition in this age category is strictly at a professional level.
Last in the overall categories but certainly not least was the blonde haired show stopper Sofia Tchernetsky of Calgary. Sofia won the overall Child Talent Award for her singing and dancing. Sofia beat out over 30 other performers from all across Canada. However, that is not this young person's only talent, she also happens to be a champion on the ski slopes as well.
Talent INC Canada is currently touring the nation looking for the very best Canadian Talent to showcase at their next event to be held in February of 2015.
