Fremont, Ohio (PRWEB) October 07, 2013
An inside look at one of Ohio’s most successful and innovative small manufacturing operations that serve the blow mold plastics industry will air this coming October 8th on The Fox Business Network (Approximately 8:30-8:44 p.m. CST)
The Dallas, Texas-based Marvel Production Group produces a 2 minute production called “Manufacturing Marvels®,” which regularly airs on the network. Century Die Company and other manufacturing innovators across the country are featured in a two-minute “spotlight” of capability and manufacturing prowess. Century Die is a specialty blow mold manufacturer that operates from a plant in Fremont, Ohio – supporting the local community and employing over 70 employees.
“Century Die manufactures molds primarily used by plastic bottle manufacturers for the automotive and household products industry. The bottles that are formed in these molds are used in the majority of households across America. Often local and national consumers do not realize that the cleaning supply, laundry detergent or automotive care bottle that they have in their home probably came from a manufacturing chain that reaches back to Century Die Company in Fremont, Ohio,” states Tim Myers, General Manager, “This broadcast will give us more national exposure and a visual representation of a manufacturing facility that has grown over seven decades to successfully produce the most innovative molds and tooling in the industry.”
Marvel Production Group, LLC (MPG) visited the Century Die plant in Fremont, Ohio on September 24th, where they were immersed in the company's engineering, production, QC and manufacturing methods. While on-site, MPG captured the diversity of operations, the depth of engineering, the importance of quality, and the efficiency of the plant itself.
After its air date, this video will be available on the centurydie.com website for continued viewing.
