Meehan wanted to do more for the youth of Clearwater, Florida, as well as surrounding smaller communities, explaining “if we give children more to do at a younger age, they will aspire to be better people.” Mr. Meehan found his open door as a volunteer with the Youth Athletic League for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department.
