Mila Publishing Sarl Launches New Social Media Campaign to Bring Awareness to Dyslexia
Geneva, Switzerland (PRWEB UK) 9 October 2013 -- Mila Publishing Sarl, publisher of the popular SECRET SUITCASE app and the Maks & Mila children’s books, is pleased to announce the launch of it’s new Facebook campaign during Dyslexia Awareness Month. The Facebook campaign will start on October 9, 2013 and wishes to reach more people with news about dyslexia as well as to promote the use of this free app that helps children, especially those with dyslexia, to build Joy and Self-Confidence in their lives.
While as many as 15 to 20% of students in the United States may have dyslexia according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the International Dyslexia Association, only about 5% of dyslexics are recognized and receive the necessary assistance. This, while many people with dyslexia can learn to read and write well, if identified at an early stage.
Merel Bakker, CEO of Mila Publishing Sarl, states that “this is shocking and that we should do whatever we can to reach out to those children who have dyslexia but can learn to read well if they get the necessary tools to do so”.

This special font, recently got a lot of attention by a personal blog about the font from Richard Branson and an article in Wired Magazine and has proven to lead to less reading mistakes in a research conducted by Twente University.
