OSHA Recognizes Cintas Uniform Rental in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with Highest Safety Designation
Baton Rouge, Louisiana (PRWEB) October 24, 2013 -- Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced that its uniform rental facility in Baton Rouge, La. has received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The VPP Star Certification is OSHA’s highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health.
The Cintas uniform rental facility in Baton Rouge is the 16th rental facility and the 22nd companywide to receive Star designation. The facility’s 108 partners, along with representatives from OSHA, and state and community officials will celebrate the honor with a flag raising ceremony held at the facility in Baton Rouge on Oct. 28 at 1:30 p.m.

Cintas’ Baton Rouge facility began the VPP process four years ago. The designation required successful completion of a strict and rigorous audit and collaboration between all levels of management and employee-partners in order to create an environment of continuous safety improvement.
