Christmas starts early at Access Self Storage with the launch of their Christmas Charity Appeal
UK (PRWEB UK) 29 October 2013 -- From today, people across the UK are being asked to start thinking about Christmas and make a donation to the Access Self Storage Christmas Charity Appeal.
Access have successfully run charity appeals over the past few years and are looking forward to another strong response.
With stores across the UK, Access is proud to be supporting the local community, particularly at this time of year, through partnerships with local charities.
Access Self Storage Marketing Manager Kevin Pratt explained, “This year we are supporting 21 different charities, Action for Children, Save the Children, Kingston Foodbank, Acton Homeless Concern, When you wish upon a Star, Rainbows and many more. We have created special drop-off points in all our stores, where donations will be collected, sorted and delivered to the charities. Last year the public support for our campaign was incredible and we are really hoping that we will be able to top it again!!”
The charity campaign really does make a difference to people’s lives at Christmas as Rosie Houghton, corporate fundraising support officer at The Myton Hospices, one of the charities that Access is supporting this year, explains, “We are thrilled to be working with Access Self Storage and their customers again this Christmas. Each year we have to raise £7.5 million to continue to make a difference to the people coping with a terminal illness. We simply couldn’t do this without the support organisations such as Access Self Storage and the local community, thank you.”
