Europe Unlimited and its partners Camera di Commercio Industria Artigianato e Agricoltura di Torino, Unioncamere Piemonte and I3P are pleased to announce the 48 most promising Italian high technology innovative business presenting on November 20 at the Italian Venture Forum in Torino.

Europe Unlimited and its partners Camera di Commercio Industria Artigianato e Agricoltura di Torino, Unioncamere Piemonte, I3P, and Enterprise Europe Network are pleased to announce the third edition of the Italian Venture Forum taking place in Torino, Italy on the 20th of November 2013, which will showcase Italian best innovative companies in ICT, Clean technologies and Life Sciences.

Around 50 emerging entrepreneurs coming from Piemonte and all over Italy have been selected from a pool of over 90 companies to present their innovations, developments and needs in front of an investor jury of about 40 business angels, venture capitalists, corporate investors, and other industry experts.

Programme
The Italian Venture Forum’s unique programme allows business networking at the highest level, from discussion panels and in-depth discussion groups via presentations of fast growing companies to private, pre-arranged One2One meetings for serious business.

During the opening panel discussion session experienced Venture Capitalists such as Pietro Strada from Torch Partners and Sergio Zocchi from United Ventures will highlight where the opportunities and challenges lie in the venture investment landscape in Italy. Among others, Cristiano Esclapon from SiamoSoci will also take part to the discussion and highlight the potentials of Crowdfunding.

48 best most promising early stage companies
The 48 most promising early stage companies operating in the technology spectrum of ICT, Life Sciences and Clean Technologies based in Piemonte and Italy have been selected from a pool of over 90 candidates to present their business in front of a jury of 40 venture capitalists, corporate representatives and other industry experts. The best 12 benchmarked companies will be awarded at the end of the Forum and continue to European Venture Summit.

The Investor Jury includes - among others - investors from Paua Ventures, GlaxoSmithKline, Sofinnova Partners, the Dow Chemical Company, Total Energy Ventures, Triangle Venture Capital, United Ventures and 360° Capital Partners.
