DISA MDM/MAS Subcontract Awarded to PaRaBaL
Catonsville, MD (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- DISA’s Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization announced the award of a firm fixed price contract to Digital Management Inc. (DMI) team for the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system and Mobile Application Store (MAS). PaRaBaL, Incorporated is a member of DMI’s subcontract team that will be providing the training component of the contract.

The establishment of the MDM and MAS for the Department of Defense Mobility Implementation Plan sets the stage for the digital ecosystem that will operate and assure the mobile devices that connect with DOD networks. “An enterprise-level service capability for unclassified information processing will be accomplished by an MDM system with an enterprise MAS,” the plan states.
PaRaBaL will design, build and deliver MDM training for the entire DOD. The training will be for the end users and system administrators. PaRaBaL’s strong Mobile Technology expertise was selected by the DMI team early on in the proposal process as a perfect compliment to the overall team and the delivery of the MDM/MAS capability to the DOD.
The solicitation for this contract was issued as a full and open competition.
