For example, the Segway PT can cover three times as much area as a person would on foot. "The Segway PT is unparalleled in efficiency and sustainability because of its very low carbon footprint. Darren Romar the owner of Segway of Oakland is so confident in the Segway product he is offering “turn key” financing and “no obligation“ demonstrations to people anywhere in Northern California. "I am so eager to make the SegwayPT part of the American lifestyle, that we are offering consumer and business financing with no money down. Customers can get financing packages for as low as $148 per month," says Romar.
Romar explains that the Segway PT is a unique, American-made machine, that is unrivaled in quality and technology. The Segway PT has totally wireless control and the major components are contained within the base of the Segway PT. The handlebar has no electronic controls and instead the Segway PT is controlled by body movement forward and backward and by leaning the handlebar from side to side. " The Segway PT has no accelerator or brakes and is instead controlled by body movement", said Romar. The Segway PT balances directly over two wheels and it uses electronic gyroscopes to help keep the machine balanced on the two wheels.
