Additionally, the new design improves upon the original in a couple distinct ways. Most importantly, the new organic cotton offers a better average pore size than comparable fabrics. With an average pore size of just 4.7 microns, the new covers have been independently tested and provide better protection against dust mites than the original encasements.
In addition to the pore size, the design of the covers has improved tremendously. Each organic mattress or pillow cover features a covered and hidden zipper to provide a more streamlined and smooth appearance. For the mattress covers specifically, the zipper pull tucks away neatly, completely hidden from sight. Lastly, the range of mattress sizes available has expanded to include 9, 12, and 15 inch depths with some custom sizes available.
