BIME Raises $4 Million in Series A Financing

This round immediately follows the company’s expansion, with the opening of its US headquarters in Kansas City, MO.

BIME intends to use the Series A proceeds to invest in continued enhancements to its industry-leading true cloud BI offering that turns the entire web into a seamlessly connected data warehouse, allowing companies to query data sources across the entire web in real-time, and to expand sales in North America.

BIME will start with an initial team of seven employees, focusing on sales and support, and plans to accelerate headcount growth in 2014. The company will also increase staff at its French headquarters in Montpellier, doubling the overall company size by the end of this year.
