ALLi Director Orna Ross Recognised As A Top Publishing Industry Influencer
London, LONDON (PRWEB UK) 5 December 2013 -- The Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) is delighted to announce the inclusion of founder and director, Orna Ross, in The Bookseller’s Annual Hot 100 report.
The report, compiled by staff of book trade magazine, The Bookseller, led by Features Editor Tom Tivnan, profiles those they deem the 100 most influential people in the publishing industry.
The 2013 report - the fifth time The Bookseller has compiled such a list - features ALLi for the first time, with Ross recognized as the “key voice for self-published writers.” Ross is among twenty-seven new entries to the 2013 list, and one of forty women featured.
“Of course I’m delighted with this recognition of the dedication and determination of everyone at ALLi,” Orna Ross said. “Our team, our volunteers and our amazing advisors. And, of course, our members: that exceptionally fine band of writers and their exceptionally fine books.
“All our hard work and our support of each other has won this recognition by the premier books trade magazine that author-publishing is now an important part of the publishing industry. And that the Alliance of Independent Authors is the association that best represents the interests of self-publishing writers who want to produce great books.”
The full report can be accessed on The Bookseller site, with Ross’ excerpt accessible on the main ALLi website.
