Scaled Agile, Inc. Announces Move to New Corporate Headquarters and Training Center in Boulder
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- Scaled Agile, Inc. (SAI), a product, training, certification and professional services firm that helps companies scale adoption of Lean|Agile software development throughout the enterprise, today announced the recent move of its corporate headquarters from South Boulder to 5480 Valmont Road, Suite 100, in North Boulder.
The larger office space will support the SAI’s plans for double-digit headcount growth in 2014. The new headquarters includes an onsite training center, where partners and customers can attend classes to become certified practitioners and/or trainers of the company’s Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)®. The first class in the new training center is scheduled for December 16.
“We are thrilled to open the doors of our new training center next week when the first class arrives in Boulder for three days of intensive collaboration and learning,” Scaled Agile CEO Drew Jemilo said. “Our goal is to give our training-class attendees a first-class experience. Our new training center, with its open floor plan, comfortable seating and modern audio-visual capabilities, will help ensure we achieve that goal.”
The ability to better support companies that join SAI’s fast-growing partner network was the most important reason to invest in the training center, Jemilo added. “Our partners are the lifeblood of our company. These organizations spread SAFe to enterprises around the world. The training center will allow us to support hundreds of partner organizations and thousands of individuals seeking SAFe training and certification over the next several years.”
Created by SAI Chief Methodologist Dean Leffingwell, the Scaled Agile Framework is an illustrative roadmap that directs managers and software developers along the path to becoming a Lean|Agile enterprise. By adopting the Framework, SAI’s customers can more quickly deliver higher quality and fully tested software – either for external markets or internal operations.
SAFe’s primary interface is the “Big Picture” graphic, which highlights the individual roles, activities, work products, and practices necessary to scale Agile from the team to the enterprise. It has been successfully applied by software development teams of all sizes, from those with fewer than 50 developers to enterprises employing thousands of developers.
