4th Annual Ring in the New Year at Noon at New Roc City
New Rochelle, NY (PRWEB) December 20, 2013 -- New Roc City, the 450,000-square-foot entertainment and retail destination, will be hosting its Fourth Annual Ring in the New Year at Noon celebration on Tuesday, December 31 from 10:30a.m. – 12:30p.m. New Roc City, located at 33 Le Count Place in downtown New Rochelle, will be celebrating the entrance into 2014 with a festive morning event designed to provide families with a Times Square-simulated atmosphere. Renowned radio personality Jimmy Fink of 107.1 The Peak will return as the event’s Master of Ceremonies. Geared towards families with children ages 2-10, New Roc City will be the ultimate fun-filled destination for young families to celebrate the New Year. In addition to traditional New Years activities, kids will enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, kiddy rides, magicians, clowns, dancing, a martial arts demonstration, games and more.
“Ring in the New Year at Noon” will be held in New Roc City’s atrium where Jimmy Fink will countdown to a special balloon release when the clock strikes noon.
Participating tenants include Regal IMAX Theater, FUNFUZION Games and Rides, Monroe College, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee’s, Premier Martial Arts, Jani Chinese and Japanese Restaurant, Stop N’ Shop, Planet Fitness, Gamestop, LAZ Parking, and the New Rochelle BID. Families will receive special offers from participating retailers and restaurants along with free snacks, prizes and more.
Ring in the New Year at Noon is being held in association with the New Rochelle Business Improvement District and their BID Family Day event series. Additionally the event will serve as the closing ceremony for the City of New Rochelle’s successful year-long 325th anniversary celebration (http://www.newrochelleny.com/325) which paid tribute to its rich history with a series of family-friendly events throughout 2013.
