New Social Marketplace for WordPress, WP Shop by GMO, to Put Spotlight on Designers in Asia
Singapore (PRWEB) July 12, 2013 -- GMO Internet Group company, GMO Internet Pte Ltd. (Singapore) today officially launches WP Shop by GMO (http://www.wpshop.com), a social marketplace for buying and selling WordPress themes, while providing a platform to showcase and share Asian design. WP Shop by GMO began accepting content and theme submissions in late February and is officially open to all users as of today.
WP Shop by GMO is a social marketplace for buying and selling high quality themes and other digital content for WordPress created by web designers in Asia. Features of the marketplace include the ability for users to communicate with designers to ask questions and receive technical support, and “Like”, “Follow”, and “Watchlist” functions help designers get their work noticed and users track their favorite designers.
The marketplace’s interactive and social features facilitate smooth communication between sellers and purchasers. Going forward, GMO Internet will continue to add new features, including a Job board where designers can post and find projects, and Forums for discussing themes and content. .
The WordPress user population is increasing yearly, and while there are many general content marketplaces, there are few that specialize in a particular region or design viewpoint. WP Shop aims to be not only a marketplace for a better WordPress user experience, but a platform to showcase and share Asian design. We aim to support the further growth of talented Asian web designers and provide a place where web designers can improve and promote their skills, showcase their work, and profit from their designs.
