EarthCam Provides Live View from the Top of the Washington Monument

Mounted to the scaffolding on the pyramidion of the treasured landmark, the HD megapixel camera system delivers views from the highest vantage point in Washington, DC. A creative vision from EarthCam CEO and Founder, Brian Cury, and Bob Vogel, Superintendent of National Mall and Memorial Parks at the National Park Service, the new high-definition camera takes visitors to the top of this 555-foot tall marble structure and delivers sweeping 12 megapixel images of Washington, DC with a special wide angle lens. This unmatched aerial perspective delivers uninterrupted views of the United States Capitol, one of the most symbolically important and architecturally impressive buildings in the nation, as well as the beautiful landscape of The National Mall.
