Women’s Excellence in Menopause is Now Open in Lake Orion, Michigan; Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House Planned for July
Lake Orion, MI (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- Women’s Excellence in Menopause opened its doors to the public on July 8, 2013. Previously operating out of the Women’s Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology center, Women’s Excellence in Menopause has moved right next door into what was the McLaren Family Planning center. McLaren closed their center making the space available for Women’s Excellence in Menopause to move in.
The center will accommodate women who are menopausal, whether by surgical means or natural, and are experiencing unwanted symptoms. The center specializes in Bioidentical Hormone (BIH) Therapies in addition to the traditional, FDA approved, pharmaceutical options. Bone mineral density screening will also be available at the center as well as treatment for osteopenia and osteoporosis. Micronutrient testing, nutritional counseling, and medical weight management services are also offered.
Shannon Hill, MSN, CNP, is the primary health care provider at the center and has been a nurse practitioner in the Lake Orion area for over a decade. “Patients are going to love our new center and I’m excited about having more time for consultations. Patients have a lot of questions and it’s important to have that time to spend with them.” The center is beautifully appointed and has a warm, welcoming feel. According to Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, MD, founder and physician at the Women’s Excellence centers, “This is all about customer service. We wanted to give better service to those women who had specific problems in their menopausal years. You can’t give service like this in a standard OB/GYN office.”
