The questionnaire examined the maturity and structure of each company’s program with a focus on vendor risk assurance, information security budget trends, and cyber risk reporting.
Results of the study were compiled into an overall view of the changing landscape of information security in corporations of all sizes. When compared with the previous survey, the 2013 survey gives important insight on information security priorities and on trending topics such as mobile device management. The survey also details the foremost perceived challenges faced by corporate programs, possibly illustrating where information security as an industry is headed.
