eTalentShowcase.com Announces Top Ten Finalists In Music Video Contest
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- eTalentShowcase.com just announced the 10 bands that are the finalists in their 2013 music video contest. Musicians were asked to submit their best music videos and the ten bands chosen as finalists submitted the clips that best captured the spirit of the competition and that most impressed the judges.
eTalentShowcase.com received a large number of videos from artists across multiple genres and the process of eliminating submissions to get to the final ten was not easy. Individual artists as well as groups were eligible to submit music videos and bands from across the country worked day and night to submit their best work.
The ten finalists are Edgar Allan Poets, Alana Lee, Providence, Wordsmith, Lindsay Compton, Shotgun Sugar, Matt Clarke, Dino, Windsor Oaks Band and Wyldlife. The videos submitted by each finalist can be viewed on the finalist page and the public is encouraged to watch each video, read about the artists and be prepared to vote for their favorite when voting starts on July 31, 2013.
Votes can be cast on eTalentShowcase.com’s Facebook page and once voting is complete and all the votes are counted, eTalentShowcase.com will reveal the three videos that receive the highest vote totals. The final stage will of the contest will be in the hands of our four music industry judges. They will pick the best video from the Top 3. The winning video will receive a suite of prizes designed to capture the attention of fans and industry VIPs. The package includes:
• A private consultation with Grammy Award Winning Record Producer Marc Swersky of Monocentric Music.
• A band/musician review by Jim Testa of Jersey Beat. Winning video and review will be published on the Jersey Beat web site.
• Social media and online promotion: The winning video will be featured on eTalent’s Youtube Channel as the featured video for one month. It will also be featured on the site’s home page, plus eTalentShowcase.com will share and promote the winning video across all social media platforms.
• A treatment for the winner’s next video from the production company Inspire Me Pictures.
• National press release announcing the winner and a feature profile on eTalentShowcase.com’s homepage.
• An evaluation from Major Label Record Producer Phil Garland of Hit Play Records.
“It’s obvious the bands put everything they had into these videos,” says Edward Olimpio, vice president of marketing for the site. “It was difficult for our judges to narrow the video submissions down to ten finalists and we are certain it will be just as difficult for fans to decide which video they like best.”
