Dr Delphinium Designs & Events Merges with Gunter's Greenhouse
DALLAS, TX (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Gunter's Greenhouse, a Richardson, TX florist and orchid-grower will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dr Delphinium Designs & Events of Dallas, TX. Upon the retirement of the previous owners Gunter and Ute Schnetzinger, Dr Delphinium will continue their passion and dedication to providing the myriad of orchid varieties Gunter's has supplied to their customers for 42 years.
"They created a fantastic business. I've known them for several years so it made sense for us to merge," says Charles Ingrum, Owner and General Manager of Dr Delphinium Designs & Events. "Our combined clientele can look forward to the same outstanding service we have brought you for 42 years, along with new beautiful gifts and floral designs."
Dr Delphinium, known for their exquisite European floral designs, will utilize Gunter's existing 10,000 sq/ft greenhouse to integrate increased orchid varietals into floral designs, plant products, wedding and event designs, and corporate decor. The greenhouse holds more than 15,000 orchid plants, a diversity and quantity not found elsewhere in North Texas.
With a newly updated website and marketing strategy, Ingrum says Gunters will be fully incorporated into the Dr Delphinium brand early next year. "We want their customers to stay with us so the transition will be slow," says Ingrum. "But we're excited about the future and opportunities this expanded family can bring to Dallas and its surrounding areas."
