Boulder, CO (PRWEB) July 30, 2013
ColoradoBiz Magazine has named Sophono, Inc. a finalist in the 2013 Top Company Awards Program.
Now in its 26th year, the Top Company Awards program recognizes Colorado companies – with headquarters or a significant presence in the state – for excellence in financial performance, community involvement and outstanding achievement in areas such as product innovation, operational excellence or marketing effectiveness.
Deloitte, a sponsor of the program, chose the finalists in 14 different industry categories from the companies’ nominations. A panel of business professionals and policy officials will select the winners. ColoradoBiz Magazine will announce the winners from each of the categories and recognize all finalists at the 26th annual Top Company Awards celebration, Sept. 11 at the Seawell Ballroom of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The publication will provide coverage on finalists in its September print issue and online, and profile winners in November.
"The naming of Sophono as a finalist in the Top Company Awards program – one of Colorado’s most competitive business awards programs – is an important distinction,” says Jim Kasic, president and CEO of Sophono. “This further recognizes Sophono’s accomplishments in the innovative treatment the company is bringing to those suffering from serious hearing loss or impairment.”
