Habitat for Humanity Big Winner at 2013 AIA Florida Annual Convention
Deerfield Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- Crawford-Tracey Corporation, a leading Florida-based glazing contractor specializing in unitized and pre-glazed curtain wall and window wall products, sponsors AIA FL Raffle. Architects raised $2,750 for Habitat for Humanity at this year’s 2013 AIA Florida Annual Convention in Orlando. The annual social responsibility raffle, provided the local Habitat for Humanity a check for $2,750.
The money was raised through a raffle for a cruise, a $3,000 value. The program started in 2011, with the proceeds from the raffle going to the local Habitat for Humanity. Crawford-Tracey has been the corporate sponsor since its inception, giving away a scooter, a one-year lease on a smart car and this year a cruise. Jeffery Phillips, AIA with BRPH Companies out of Melbourne, FL was the lucky winner.
“We are extremely pleased with the amount of money we were able to raise for Habitat for Humanity with our raffle," says Ray Crawford, President of Crawford-Tracey. “As the corporate sponsor for this annual raffle, we are proud to give back to our local community.” In addition to Crawford-Tracey’s sponsorship of the cruise they also raffled off a 32” LCD Television at their booth. Vivian Salaga, Principal at Atelier Architecture in Tampa, was the winner who walked away with the new TV.
