Hollaender’s® Interna-Rail® VUE Glass Railing System Chosen for New Adult Community Healthcare Center
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) August 06, 2013 -- The Rocking Horse Community Health Center, a healthcare facility located in Springfield, Ohio, incorporated Hollaender’s glass railing system as part of their new $6,000,000 adult community healthcare center. The railing system is part of Hollaender’s post mounted Interna-Rail VUE glass railing system.
Stephen Sharp, an architect with McCall-Sharp Architecture, Ltd., was tasked with providing a state of the art facility that would be warm and inviting to clients. When it came time to select the balcony railing that was situated over the building entrance and reception area, Sharp chose the Hollaender Interna-Rail VUE system. “Hollaender gave me a clean, professional appearance that fit our budget,” he says. The installation was fast, accurate, and done right the first time, something Sharp says is crucial in a business with tight time frames and budgets.
Sharp says he considered a conventional steel railing system, but the glass railing gave the balcony both a safe and professional appearance. The appearance of the rail is minimized in a way that it doesn’t overwhelm the space below, but obvious enough that one would feel safe looking over the balcony, he says.
The Interna-Rail VUE system is constructed using Hollaender’s aluminum Interna-Rail handrail, glass or acrylic panels, and Hollaender’s panel clips and bottom support channels. The modular system is simple-to-install, maximizes visibility through the handrail, and is a more cost effective alternative than stainless systems. All Interna-Rail fittings and pipe come standard with a clear anodized finish or a dark bronze anodized finish. Optionally, the system can be powder coated to AAMA 2604 specifications, or Kynar® coated and can be designed to meet any building code.
