Dundas Data Visualization Provides Dashboards for “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes”
Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) August 14, 2013 -- Dundas Data Visualization is proud to announce their involvement with international nonprofit corporation, White Ribbon. Dundas has committed to providing the nonprofit with useable business dashboards in order to allow the organization to better track and allocate funds during their Toronto event. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an international men’s walk aimed to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence by asking men to literally walk one mile in women’s high-heeled shoes.
Dundas is proud to be a Gold Sponsor for the Toronto event, which will be held at Yonge & Dundas Square on September 26, 2013 and run by the White Ribbon Campaign. In addition to providing performance dashboards for a noble cause, Dundas is also excited to display their data visualizations on the large multimedia screens in Toronto’s city center. “For all the great work that goes on behind closed doors at Dundas, it’s important that we ensure that we’re contributing at an equal rate to our community,” explained Scott Benzie, Vice President of Marketing at Dundas Data Visualization. “Dundas is proud to provide their custom performance dashboards to such a great cause and we look forward to continually participating in such events.”
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes will be taking place at Yonge & Dundas Square on Thursday, September 26th at 12:00 PM. Dundas Data Visualization Staff will be on hand for the duration of the event and will be participating.

About White Ribbon
White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end violence against women and girls, promote gender equity, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity.
Starting in 1991, we asked men to wear white ribbons as a pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women and girls. Since then the White Ribbon has spread to over 60 countries around the world.
We work to examine the root causes of gender-based violence and create a cultural shift that helps bring us to a future without violence.
Our vision is for a masculinity that embodies the best qualities of being human. We believe that men are part of the solution and part of a future that is safe and equitable for all people.
Through education, awareness-raising, outreach, technical assistance, capacity building, partnerships and creative campaigns, White Ribbon is helping create tools, strategies and models that challenge negative, outdated concepts of manhood and inspire men to understand and embrace the incredible potential they have to be a part of positive change.
