Fiesta San Antonio Brings Home a Record Number of Awards at Annual State-Wide Conference
San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) August 09, 2013 -- Fiesta® took home 16 first place awards including: Best Full-Length TV Program, Best Radio Promotion, Best Organization Website, Best Social Media Website, Best Event Program, Best Promotional Brochure, Best Commemorative Poster, Best Cover Design, Best Single Magazine Display Ad, Best Billboard, Best Sponsorship Solicitation Package, Best Sponsor Follow-Up Report, Best Community Outreach Program, Best Miscellaneous Merchandise, and Best New Merchandise. In addition, Fiesta® San Antonio Commission brought home 12 second place awards and four third place awards.
Fiesta® San Antonio Commission participating member organizations were also winners in the statewide competition. Fiesta Flambeau Parade Organization won a total of nine awards, St. Mary’s University Alumni Association received six awards, San Antonio Conservation Society brought home three, and United San Antonio Pow Wow won one.
TFEA Marketing Awards were handed out in 62 different categories and included competition from organizations such as Washington Birthday Celebration in Laredo, BorderFest in Hidalgo, Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival, and numerous others.
