New York Cardiovascular Associates Launches New Health Campaign via Social Media to Educate Public About Healthy Sleep
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 17, 2013 -- New York Cardiovascular Associates is announcing the launch of a new social media campaign to educate the public about healthy sleep. With 30% of adult Americans getting six hours of sleep or less a night, the New York City based sleep center recommends healthy sleep habits as an important way to make sure the public is getting enough rest.
A center representative explains that a regular bedtime routine is a good place to start when building healthy sleep habits. “Going to bed and getting up at the same time, avoiding caffeine in the afternoon, and avoiding large meals before bedtime can all help a person have better quality sleep.” The center also recommends removing television screens and cell phones from the bedroom to avoid distractions before bed.
The center recognizes that building healthy sleep habits can’t happen immediately, so they plan to provide information on this topic to the public throughout the month of August. They will utilize social media to help distribute healthy sleep tips and information. Interested readers can learn more by visiting their Facebook and Twitter pages.
