Before joining Kajeet, Askew served as Northeast Regional Manager for Highpoints Learning, Inc., a publisher of a proprietary online math curriculum. Prior to his tenure at Highpoints, Askew practiced special education advocacy in the DC metropolitan area for the law firm of Murrell and Brown. He began his career with positions as a teacher, administrator and community involvement specialist in Montgomery County Public Schools. Askew holds a BS degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and completed his graduate studies at both Johns Hopkins University and Bowie State University.
