App Quality Alliance Continues to Grow its Membership Numbers with Epicentre, VMC Game Labs and Keynote
London, England (PRWEB) August 13, 2013 -- App Quality Alliance (AQuA), the mobile industry’s organization supporting quality app development, today announced the addition of some of the world’s top testing service providers to its new membership scheme. Epicentre, VMC Game Labs and Keynote DeviceAnywhere have all been signed as ‘Endorsed Testing Service Members’. An AQuA Endorsed member signifies a testing service provider or developer whose services have been validated and endorsed by AQuA.
‘‘Continued demand from app commissioners wishing to find developers and testing services that take quality seriously has encouraged us to create a new membership scheme that is only open to professional developers and testing service providers who have been through AQuA’s rigorous validation process to prove they are very credible in their area of expertise,” said Martin Wrigley, Executive Director, AQuA. “We have already seen some of the industry’s most respected organizations join us as they continue to support and share our vision when it comes to developing real quality in the app market.’’
All Endorsed AQuA members as well as existing Core members including AT&T, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Orange, Oracle, Samsung and Sony Mobile have access to a range of new benefits including involvement in the AQuA Board, ability to lead or input into industry projects, enhanced listing on the AQuA site as well as extensive promotion by AQuA and public recognition of the quality of their services
AQuA has made sure that only professional developers and testers equally dedicated to their quality regime, become endorsed members. App commissioners looking for a truly credible and independent resource for true quality apps need only refer to the AQuA Directory of members.
AQuA Endorsed and Core members will also be actively encouraged to come together to collaborate with other members (like-minded leading organizations within the industry), to drive the state of the industry in areas concerning app quality.
“We’re proud to share our knowledge and experience with the App Quality Alliance and look forward to a long-running and strong partnership. We also look forward to playing our part in supporting an increased growth in quality of apps, and helping our clients to boost their apps’ profiles with the coveted AQuA seal of approval. As to the future – we’re keen to leverage our mobile testing expertise and connections to help AQuA further the great quality work done by app developers,” Shaun Green, Testing Project Manager, Epicentre.
‘‘Being an AQuA Endorsed Testing Service is set to open more doors for us, especially when it comes to new business opportunities as our membership will continue to re-assure clients of the credibility and the quality of our product. We not only realize the value, but also the need for an independent organization like AQuA in the developer and testing space,” Nick Halsey, Chief Marketing Officer, Keynote.
“The explosion in the number of companies creating mobile apps has led to an environment where many have set up ad-hoc development processes focusing on getting the app out of the door rather than ensuring the steps to build a quality product. By becoming an AQuA Endorsed member we will stand apart for our structured approach to testing and emphasis on quality that leads to the long term sustainability and commercial success of apps," Jon Atkinson, Senior Program Manager, VMC Game Labs.
There are five levels of membership including AQuA Affiliate, AQuA Affiliated Testing Service AQuA Endorsed Developer, AQuA Endorsed Testing Service and AQuA Core membership.
