GRM, Atlanta Completes 80,000 Box Transfer for Global Law Firm
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 20, 2013 -- The Atlanta-based facility of GRM Document Management, a full cycle records and information management leader, recently completed an 80,000-box transfer of physical files for the Atlanta office of a large, internationally recognized law firm. These files were transferred directly to GRM from the firm’s previous storage vendor and were part of a new contract impacting four GRM locations and hundreds of thousands of boxes overall. GRM, Atlanta also transitioned approximately 7,000 additional boxes of documents directly from the law firm’s local office.
“The transition from the prior vendor went off without a hitch,” said GRM, Atlanta Operations Manager, Matthew Diaz. “The boxes were quickly organized and moved. And with our PRECISIONplus tracking in place, every item was monitored and accounted for throughout the process. Moving the additional boxes from the firm’s office also went smoothly. Now, with all of the files safely stored in our secure facility, the client is extremely pleased."
As part of a multi-market information management agreement between GRM and the legal firm, the Atlanta transfers coincided with the movement of additional and significant quantities of boxes to GRM facilities in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
