Medical Device Consultancy Emergo Group Opens Offices in Turkey and South Africa

In Turkey, Emergo Group has opened an office in Istanbul to provide Turkish medical device registration consulting as well as Authorized Representation services for companies interested in commercializing their products in the country. Turkey’s medical device market, and its economy as a whole, continue to be one of the strongest in the Middle East and Southeast Europe.
A regional economic powerhouse, South Africa has also proven a lucrative emerging market for many foreign companies. The South African medical device registration and approval system currently focuses mostly on electrical products, but market participants and observers expect the government to implement more comprehensive device regulations in the near future. Ahead of these anticipated regulatory changes, Emergo Group has established an office in Cape Town to support manufacturers seeking medical device registration in South Africa, but also aids South African manufacturers looking to export their devices.
