Williams Mullen Welcomes Intellectual Property Attorney Joshua B. Brady
Tyson's Corner, VA (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Joshua B. Brady has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice as an Associate. Mr. Brady will be working out of the Tyson’s Corner office.
Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Brady practiced patent and trademark prosecution, opinion writing, client counseling, and intellectual property litigation as an Associate at Oliff & Berridge, PLC. His patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation experience includes pre-filing investigations, pleadings and drafting, fact and expert discovery, claim construction, motions practice, trial, and settlement negotiation. In addition, Mr. Brady has extensive patent prosecution experience in electrical, chemical, medical, software, and mechanical arts, including reexamination proceedings and reissue applications. He previously served as a Trial Attorney with the Department of Justice, representing the federal government in affirmative and defensive patent and trademark infringement suits; trademark registration, licensing and policing; and false patent marking and counterfeit goods cases. Mr. Brady also counseled federal agencies on a wide variety of intellectual property issues.

Mr. Brady earned his J. D. from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law, where he graduated with honors in 2006. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and minored in Chemistry.
