Michigan’s First SuperLoop™ Slide to Open at Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark
Boyne Falls, MI (PRWEB) August 30, 2013 -- Michigan’s largest indoor waterpark, Avalanche Bay, located at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, Michigan, is underway with construction of a new half a million dollar slide that is expected to open in December 2013, in time for the resort’s ski season. The new attraction, a ProSlide SuperLOOP™, is the first of its kind in Michigan.
The thrilling ride, to be named The Big Couloir, begins in a launch capsule and features a trap door that drops away and propels riders into an enclosed tunnel traveling at speeds up to 38 feet per second through the length of the 360 degree SuperLOOP™ before slowing with a splash. The Big Couloir welcomes riders 48 inches and taller.
