These 3 strategies won a total of 8 Top Guns awards from Informa/PSN.
Financial Trust Health Value™ strategy won 5 of the 8 Top Guns awarded from Informa/PSN. Placing #1 in the 2nd quarter period and #10 for the one year period ending June 30, 2013 for the Mid Cap Universe out of 296 firms and 431 peer products. Health Value also placed #1 in the 2nd quarter period and #7 for the one year period ending June 30, 2013 for Mid Value Universe out of 124 firms and 152 peer products.
In addition, Financial Trust Health Value Strategy was ranked #5 in PSN Five Star category for the US Value Universe. The Five Star category ranks managers based on risk and return over a five year period. The strategy’s risk must be lower than the median in the peer group over the last five years while its return must be greater than the benchmark over a rolling three year window for the last five years.
Financial Trust’s Flexible Income won 2 of the 8 Top Guns awards in PSN’s ETF US Fixed Income Universe ranking # 5 for the 2nd quarter period and #4 for the 1 year period ending June 30, 2013 out of 16 firms and 20 peer products. Also, Financial Trust’s LatinValueMomentum™ strategy received PSN “Bull & Bear Master” award for the Emerging Markets Universe for 3 years ending June 30, 2013, placing #7 out of 122 firms and 184 peer products reporting to PSN.
For a strategy to be considered a PSN Bull & Bear Masters, the strategy must have an R-Squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for a 3 year period ending June 30, 2013 and have an Upside Market Capture over 100 and a Downside Market Capture less than 100 relative to the style benchmark. Only the top ten Ratios between Upside Market Capture Ratio and Downside Market Capture Ratio are considered.
