PowerNet Global Has Role in Upcoming Movie, “A Strange Brand of Happy”

The “uniquely faith-friendly romantic comedy” stars Grammy Award winner Rebecca St. James, Academy Award winner Shirley Jones, and Joe Boyd, who is also a Teaching Pastor at the Vineyard Community Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. According to the movie’s website, it’s about “an aimless bachelor who loses his job and finds himself chasing the same girl as his manipulative ex-boss.”
Cast and crew were on-set at PowerNet Global for about two weeks to film scenes of main character David’s office life. As short-lived as it may seem on-screen, there was plenty of time spent ensuring the office was ready for its close-up and the pivotal scene that sets the stage for David’s quest to find himself after the loss of his job.
