Former Examiner.com Writer Named Head of Publicity At Pizazz Entertainment
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) September 01, 2013 -- One of the fastest growing Hip Hop / R&B independent labels has named Charlotte Johnson head of Publicity at Pizazz Entertainment.
"I have worked with Charlotte over the years with other business endeavors and she was always professional and insightful," Pizazz's CEO Brian Howard explains, "So when my management and production company quickly spun into a record label, I knew exactly who could help take the label to a global level."
Ms. Johnson has been a journalist and the principle writer at Newbian Blonde Agency (a public relations firm) since the late 1990s during the decade when the Hip Hop culture nearly saturated mainstream media. She will be the lead on the label's social media, print, and radio publicity campaigns.
Charlotte asserts, "I am more than excited to work with such a creatively driven team of music as well as business professionals at Pizazz Entertainment. Building awareness and creating positive working relationships with stakeholders is our main goal."
In the last two decades Ms. Johnson has been a college professor of English. She has also increased awareness and participation with public programs for private and also public organizations such as Goodwill Industries, Gaston College, The Johnston YMCA, and The Gastonia Housing Authority. Most recently, Charlotte wrote for Examiner.com.
Ms. Johnson has a Master of Science in Education and a B.A. in English with a minor in Public Relations.
