Horizon Group USA Introduces Vintage Romance by Debby Anderson Available in Michaels Stores September 2013
Warren, NJ (PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- Horizon Group USA, a leader in jewelry making, fashion apparel crafts, kids crafts and activity kits, announces they will introduce their new line, Vintage Romance by Debby Anderson, to be sold exclusively in Michaels Stores beginning September 2013.
Debby Anderson is a self-taught jewelry designer who works out of her home studio in San Francisco, California. Debby began her design career approximately 4 years ago with the creation of her jewelry business, Romancing the Bling. Debby's beautiful, ornate and handcrafted jewelry has been published in the prestigious Jewelry Affaire magazine and has also been featured on the nationally televised Today Show.
Debby teaches jewelry workshops in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as making guest appearances at industry trade shows and specialty bead shops throughout the United States. Online instructional classes are currently being developed for future release.
Debby's intricate and distinctly feminine designs are influenced by the various time periods ranging from the Renaissance era through the Art Deco era. Debby's designs incorporate religious icons, whimsical French collages, inspirational quotes and sparkling beads and stunning rhinestones. Most jewelry components begin as objects found at flea markets, antique shops or rummage sales. These vintage pieces are then repurposed by altering the finish, adding paint, deconstructing or combining the pieces in unique configurations. All of Debby's creations are original and developed organically without sketches or the use of computer-aided design programs. Each piece takes on its own identity as Debby works through each step of her designs, therefore telling a continuous story with sophisticated elegance. Her designs are never complete until the back is as pretty as the front.
Debby Anderson based Vintage Romance on what she felt would enhance Michaels Stores’ jewelry selection: components that are original, whimsical and feel custom-made. Her goal is that customers are inspired to create their own beautiful, one-of-a-kind designs, drawing inspiration from the romantic past with the promise of a romantic future.
