As medical office controller at Central Valley Kaiser Permanente, Ms. Buffington utilizes her finance, performance improvement and data analytics expertise to direct all financial functions and processes. She expertly handles budgets, monthly reporting and physician payroll while managing referrals processing and financial controls. With over 15 years of diverse roles within the company, including phlebotomist, pathology technician, analyst, financial manager and up to her current role as controller, Ms. Buffington guarantees that only the highest customer and sponsor satisfaction standards are met.
Ms. Buffington participates in many activities that enrich her civic connections to the community and is devoted to Lodi House, the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity. These selfless endeavors go hand in hand with her mission to touch the lives of all she comes across at Kaiser Permanente. “I want to make a difference in the cost our members pay for healthcare and the services they receive,” she says.
