Traveling to see loved ones over the holidays can be tough on the family pocketbook, but it shouldn't be, said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International.
Phoenix, Ariz. (PRWEB) November 25, 2013
Best Western International, The World's Biggest Hotel Family®, is helping guests save on travel and extend their family trips another night with big online discounts. Now through February 2, 2014, guests can save up to 20 percent off at participating hotels just by booking the internet-only rate at bestwestern.com.
In addition to the online discounts, Best Western Rewards® (BWR®) members who register for the promotion, and book their stay at bestwestern.com will also receive 1,000 bonus points for each qualified stay through February 2. There is no limit on the number of bookings and points members can earn during the promotion period.
”Traveling to see loved ones over the holidays can be tough on the family pocketbook, but it shouldn’t be,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International. “In addition to the immediate savings, BWR members staying for a long weekend can earn enough points for a free night or gift cards to dozens of retail partners.”
Elite members will receive an additional 500 bonus points per stay. In addition, Best Western will also donate 500 points per Elite stay to Best Western for a Better World® charities. Guests can sign-up for BWR, the hotel brand’s free loyalty program, and register for the promotion at bestwesternrewards.com.
This new campaign builds on Best Western’s 2013 efforts to offer promotions that are easier to redeem and increase the value to more frequent guests. The winter savings are immediate, and bonus points are earned on top of base points for each stay. While other hotel brands have seen 2013 as an opportunity to devalue their programs, Best Western remains committed to providing more value to its loyalty program members.
For 25 years, Best Western Rewards has been one of the industry’s most generous rewards programs. It has the lowest redemption thresholds for awards, and is one of few loyalty programs that is truly international. With more than 4,000* locations in more than 100* countries, Best Western makes it easy for members to earn points that can be redeemed for global free room nights with no blackout dates, the Best Western Travel Card®, dining, shopping and entertainment gift cards, gas cards, airline/partner rewards and more. Best Western’s Status Match...No Catch® program will match members’ elite status in any other hotel loyalty program free of charge. Consumers who are not members of Best Western Rewards can sign up for the free program at bestwesternrewards.com.
Best Western Rewards was recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the No. 2 hotel rewards program.
